Jonah Series
For many, the story of Jonah is the story of a man who is swallowed by a great fish. And that is what makes it a hard story for many to swallow. But this story is about more than just a great fish. It's about a great God who is calling for a man to be swallowed by God's purpose and mission. Jonah's story is our story.

What do you do when you find yourself in the belly of a fish? Pray. It's the same thing you should do when you find yourself on rock bottom.

03 • The God of Second Chances

"Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time..." Jonah received a second chance. And just like Jonah, God gives us a second chance as well.

04 • People, Not Plants

by Eric Gray
October 4, 2020

In this message, we conclude our series on the book of Jonah. In chapter four, we find Jonah furious about the revival taking place in Nineveh, yet he's very concerned about a plant that offers him shade, and then suddenly dies. Jonah gives us a glimpse into our own hearts because our concerns can be easily misplaced too. We can easily forget that God is passionate about people.
